Le Brésilien Augusto Farfus (BMW) a remporté la course 2 à Okayama devant son coéquipier Andy Priaulx et Yvan Muller (Seat Leon TDI).

Sous le déluge d'Okoyama, Yvan Muller (Seat Leon TDI) a réalisé une très bonne opération en prenant la 4e place de la course 1.

L'Italien Gabriele Tarquini (Seat Leon TDI) a signé la pole position du meeting d'Okayama (Japon), avant dernier acte du championnat WTCC.

Ryckard Rydell (SEAT) a mis moins d'un tour pour ranger définitivement derrière lui les BMW d'Augusto Farfus et Andy Priaulx, dimanche.

Gabriele Tarquini (ITA/SEAT) repart de Valence (ESP) en leader du Mondial WTCC avec 36 pts. 2e Yvan Muller (FRA/SEAT) avec 26 pts.

Andy Priaulx s'est placé dans la meilleure position possible pour conserver son titre : en pole pour la deuxième année consécutive.
