Seminar FISU Conference 2017

TAIPEI CITY - On 21 and 22 October, the University of Taipei hosting the next FISU Conference welcomed a two days’ workshop with the purpose of evaluating the progress of the work of the organising committee and to coordinate the actions in the last months of preparation.

Hsia-Ling Tai, President of the University of Taipei and former Minister of Sport welcomed the FISU delegation headed by Verena Burk. The Conference will take place from 27 to 30 August 2017.

The main theme is: ‘University Sport: globalizing and universalizing participation’ and the subtheme are:

-        Values in Sport;

-        Sports and Healthy life style;

-        Sport for socio economic development;

-        Sport-Friendly campuses.

One of the main discussions focused on the promotion trough the website, http://2017conference.taipei/web/index/index.jsp and the videos prepared by the OC.
