STERLING READY FOR CITY DEPARTURE?
England and Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling could be on the move thus summer.
The 27-year-old has just one year left on his current deal with the Premier League champions and was hardly a fixture in the Citizens’ line-up last term.
According to the Telegraph, Chelsea are considering a bid which City may be receptive to given their outlay on Norway forward Erling Haaland.
Real Madrid and Barcelona have also been linked with Sterling, who has spoken in the past of his interest in playing abroad at some point in his career.

GAVI SET TO COMMIT FUTURE TO BARCELONA
Liverpool's hopes of landing 17-year-old starlet Gavi from Barcelona appear to be over.
The Reds have been linked with the talented midfield prospect and were believed to be ready to activate a release clause of €50million.
However, with his current deal set to expire in the summer of 2023, the Catalan giants have moved to secure his long-term future.

Manchester United are preparing to make an offer for the centre back, according to the Daily Mirror. The 25-year-old is seen as the perfect player to improve the defence at Old Trafford. However the Spanish international is also wanted by Chelsea and Tottenham ahead of the next Premier League season.
The Red Devils are said to be willing to pay £42.5m for his services.

The big story fresh off the nations newspaper presses is that Liverpool appear to be closing in on Benfica forward Darwin Nunez.
The Uruguayan has agreed terms with the Reds, according to various outlets but no fee has been reached between the clubs as of yet.
This brings us on to the latest on Sadio Mane, with Liverpool expecting Bayern Munich to cough up the £40m+ fee they want for the Senegal forward. That will help fund the transfer of Nunez according to the Telegraph.
