Les Blazers ont réussi une performance historique, jeudi, en devenant la première équipe de l’histoire à inscrire au moins 20 tirs à 3 points à deux reprises dans une saison. C’est face à Charlotte que Portland a récité sa leçon au Moda Center, avec une adresse une nouvelle fois démentielle (21/33) dans l’exercice : 2/3 pour Nicolas Batum, 3/5 pour Mo Williams, 5/6 pour Wesley Matthews, ou encore 6/6 pour Damian Lillard. Les Bobcats n’ont pas eu le temps de comprendre ce qui leur arrivait et les 134 points encaissés vont sans doute pousser Steve Clifford à revoir son plan de bataille, lui qui avait fait de son équipe un challenger défensif intéressant depuis le début de la saison.
