Dominik Brož has proved he’s willing to go the extra kilometre – several thousand in fact – to give himself the best possible chance of FIA ERC Junior U27 Championship success.
Brož missed the recent official launch of ACCR Czech Team, the ASN-backed initiative, in order to transport his Peugeot 208 R2 from its base in Czech Republic to the Portuguese port of Setúbal ahead the sailing to São Miguel where the Azores Airlines Rallye will take place this week.
“I was starting in Azores last year, it was my first regular event in ERC,” said Brož, who is co-driven by fellow Czech Petr Těšínský. “It was a really tough rally and I was really happy that we were able to finish. This time we are coming with more experience and with a brand-new Peugeot 208 R2. Unfortunately, the car was finish at the very last moment, so we didn’t have chance to do enough testing before."
